Michele and I managed to get away to New York for a few days last week. It was our first time there, and we were totally blown away. What a fantastic, vibrant, busy, diverse, over-the-top city. Michele wants to move there.
We only had time to spend 4 days in Manhatten, but we crammed in as many sight-seeing events as possible.
We returned to Minneapolis at 10pm on Christmas Eve, just in time to get home and view the huge pile of presents Santa was leaving for Jemma (our 2 and 1/2 year old niece). Christmas Day was great, and Boxing Day (the day after Christmas) was a very relaxing unwind.
And the best part of all, was logging in to work on Wednesday and finding that there weren’t many emails waiting (everything has slowed right down over the holiday season).
