If you know me, you know I’m not the ‘networking’ type – instead I’m the ‘hide in the corner’ type.
But, tough as it is, I’ve been trying to attend a few in-person events lately and ‘network’ with people.
A quick note:
Our head designer created two simple images for me:
- An overview image with a QR code that I use as my iPhone wallpaper (easy to share my details with people)
- A ‘digital business card’ image that I can easily share (eg tapping my phone with another iPhone)

On another topic… who, in their brilliance, decided that the best thing to have at a networking event, is loud music?
“OK folks, we recommend you spend the next hour chatting with peers, getting to know them better. To help, we’re now going to play really loud music so you have to shout and repeat yourself. You’re welcome.”
