  • Yes, I looked at Dabble a little while back – very impressive. They are a perfect example of a product who have focussed on perception – very slick. But I agree there may be issues about scalability etc.

    Years ago I did a lot of work in FileMaker, which was an excellent product. I only stopped using it when I started moving over to FoxPro, but even then it had features that many products these days (including VFP) still don’t have eg it had a simple wizard for putting your desktop database onto the web in a matter of minutes, complete with nice looking menus, styles etc.
