I bought one of the aquanotes based on your post. I had a divers slate before. But when I wrote on it I had to take the slate with me to the office or rewrite my notes when I got out of the shower. Not sure what kind of shower screens you have but if you have glass then a whiteboard marker could prove handy. Admittedly for it to work best you'd have to write on the side that isn't wet so it'd be post-shower mad scribbling but when having to work through programming problems I found writing on glass shower sides and/or mirrors to be quite helpful as they tend to be large, easily erasable surfaces.
