Although it wasn't so much about the demise of blogging, but the demise of emailing and the introduction of new tools like Twitter, Facebook and Skype (Am I allowed to say Skype as I think technical users find this to be too insecure). Nick Hodge's son thinks email is for old farts, though Nick's blog site has just hit 75 in Australia top blog's. Entries to my blog stopped on the very day Big Brother started and no blogs since. Hopefully the "I was in my garden drinking beer" blog entries are going away and more substantive entries are being created. I know for my blog I have almost completely gotten rid of all nonesense (hey look at my Gamer score and did you see this on YouTube) and its mostly tech content now.
