There's been some discussion about the Visual Studio VPCs expiring on 1 Nov this year even though they were originally advertised as expiring next March. MVPs have been asked to spread the word that it is being investigated, and there is a possibility that anyone using the VPCs may lose their data after 1 Nov. So, as per any situation involving important code, data, or other information, make sure you have a good backup.
